My therapeutic philosophy is holistic, integrated care. I see each person as a totality of their past and present experiences and aim to help them find their path. I work as a team with my clients as they find their new light. My therapeutic tools include:

  • Trauma-informed care.
  • Psychodynamic therapy.
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Art therapy.
  • Family systems-oriented therapy.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Washington University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saybrook University. I connect with my clients through my personal experiences and growth in my specialty areas, which have equipped me with genuine empathy, respect, and authenticity when working with clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Additionally, I have 24 years of executive-level management experience in public and private healthcare systems and addiction medicine. I have also served as a Volunteer Guardian ad Litem and as a counselor for the Crisis Text Line.

I enjoy spending time with my chosen family and friends, traveling, and nature photography in my spare time. I have recently discovered abstract acrylic painting, which has become a wonderful therapeutic self-care hobby.
